KTLA in California reports that a nursing home patient was found inside a freezer at Silverado Senior Living Facility in Calabasas. On October 28, Mollye Fisher, 94, went missing. She was eventually found inside a walk-in freezer and staff is not sure how she got inside nor how long she was there. The freezer was set at 5 degrees. Fisher, who suffers from dementia, was treated at a local hospital and later released back to the nursing home. The investigation into the matter has been turned over to the State Department of Social Services. Meanwhile, management of the nursing home discovered that the kitchen door locks were not working, so they were going to be replaced. This facility has been in the headlines before. Cesar Ulloa, a former caregiver for Silverado Senior Living Facility, was sentenced to life in prison after he tortured and abused a nursing home patient.
