May 23, 2011 – Brooklyn, N.Y. – In a report from NY1, 6 people were injured in a Brooklyn accident when a car crashed into a restaurant. It is unclear what led the car to crash into the restaurant on McDonald Avenue and Avenue I in Midwood on Friday, May 6 at about 3 p.m. People inside the restaurant began screaming and running as glass went flying everywhere. The driver and 5 other people inside the restaurant were injured but the extent of their injuries is not yet known at this time. Police have said they do not expect to charge the driver. There is extensive damage to the restaurant and the owner is not sure when it will be reopened.
