Queens, New York – In a report from New York 1, a pedestrian was seriously injured after a car accident in which 2 vehicles collided in Ozone Park. On the afternoon of Friday, June 3, a white van and car crashed on 103rd Avenue and 93rd Street. The white van jumped the sidewalk and hit a brick stoop, striking an unidentified pedestrian. According to a witness the pedestrian had suffered serious head injuries. She was taken to a local hospital and was listed as being in serious condition. The driver of the white van was not charged; however, the driver of the car was given a citation for a suspended license. The accident is still under investigation.
