Hit and Run in Brooklyn on Christmas Morning Kills Woman

January 4, 2012 – Brooklyn, N.Y. – According to a report from NBC New York, a hit and run in Brooklyn on December 25, 2011 killed a woman.  The unidentified 38-year-old woman was crossing at the intersection of Troy Avenue and Eastern Parkway in Crown Heights at around 7:30 a.m., when she was struck by a silver car.  Witnesses to the pedestrian accident told police that the driver of the car continued down Eastern Parkway. The woman was transported to Kings County Hospital but was pronounced dead.  Police are continuing to investigate and to look for the driver of the fatal hit and run.  A hit and run accident can have special legal implications for a victim and his or her family.
