Vito is a New York State licensed and bonded private investigator with twenty years experience. As an investigator with Gacovino, Lake & Associates, PC, he has proven to be a vital asset, investigating all aspects of personal injury and pharmaceutical matters. His experience and vast knowledge of accident investigation has proven to be successful for Gacovino, Lake & Associates. His duties include daily interaction with our clients, to ensure their needs and goals are met in this trying time of injury. Vito is also a current member of The National Council of Investigative Specialists & Associated Licensed Detectives of New York State.
Stephanie Fabig
Paralegal/Legal Assistant
Stephanie is our “go-to” person for defective medical device and medical record research. Her record gathering and information tracking skills have helped provide evidence for many of our injury claims. Stephanie spends a great deal of time contacting our clients to inform them of the progress on their case and to obtain additional information necessary for their claim. Her work helps our lawyers throughout the claims process by making sure all the necessary documentation is ready and available when it is needed. Stephanie is currently attending SUNY Stony Brook, studying radiology. She enjoys working out and keeping fit. She loves movies and music.

Katherine Ferreira
Paralegal/Legal Assistant
Katherine has been with us since 2010 and has a real knack for dangerous drug cases. She does a lot of case screening, where she consults with new clients about their case. She is very detail-oriented and after screening cases, Katherine is often found researching client medical records and completing outstanding evidence requests on our current cases. Katherine has a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice. She has a young daughter and she loves to read. She am also bilingual loves to travel.

Norma Fuentes
Director of Client Relations
Norma is a key component of our paralegal team and has been a member of the Gacovino, Lake & Associates P.C. staff since 1997. She delegates assignments to the legal assistants and is excellent at keeping in touch with clients after their case has been resolved. Norma also customizes our client forms and intake packages, and develops spreadsheets to keep our cases organized. She is extremely resourceful and oversees a great deal of our operations. Norma is a mother of two who is dedicated to work and family. When she is not working, she is with her scholar/athlete children, who excel in academics, softball and golf.

Tracey Hepburn
Paralega/Legal Assistant
Tracey joined the Gacovino, Lake & Associates P.C. staff in 2011 and has an excellent rapport with our clients during the case screening process. She’s very inquisitive and diligent in her duties which include initial information intake for new client cases, as well as client follow-up for active status cases. The attorneys at Gacovino, Lake & Associates P.C. of council often rely on Tracey for the latest evidence updates for their active cases. Tracey has an associate’s degree and arts and sciences and is trained in court reporting. She enjoys skiing, kickboxing, and spending time with her dog.

Hers is the first friendly face greeting you at the Gacovino, Lake & Associates P.C. Since 2006 she’s the friendly voice on the other end of the phone when you call to schedule a consultation to discuss your accident claim or when you need an update on your personal injury case. Addis may be the initial contact you make at the Gacovino, Lake & Associates P.C. firm, as she helps screen cases when a new client contacts our office. Addis is a mother of four, and has two beautiful grandchildren. Her passions include singing and dancing. She also has an associates degree in criminal justice.

Jenny Levine

Gary Rothkopf was a senior real estate development executive for over thirty years before joining Gacovino Lake. He now oversees business operations and team-building to ensure that the law firm delivers consistent, high-quality performance to its clients and affiliated law firms.
During his real estate career, Gary headed up high-end construction projects throughout the northeast. He established a proven track record of balancing business requirements and client expectations to complete projects on time and with the highest standards in quality. He received a bachelor’s degree in Marketing & Finance from Boston University in 1979.

She handles many of our administrative needs such as bookkeeping, billing and payroll. She also handles travel arrangements and keeps our records organized. Fran is deeply passionate about our office and her work. Fran is a mother of two adult children and has two grandchildren. She is a semipro bowler and a big Yankee fan. She is an active volunteer in many charitable and community organizations.
