January 28, 2011 – Fair Oaks, CA – According to the website Fox40.com, the state of California has enforced the temporary closure of the Fair Oaks Nursing Home because of the death of an elderly woman. The family of the woman, Kyong Duncan, who was 73 years old, asserts that the death was the result of abuse Duncan suffered while in the care of the nursing home. The video in question shows a pair of Fair Oaks Nursing Home workers lifting Duncan from what appears to be the floor, and setting her down in a wheelchair.
